Slot missions are an excellent method to earn gear weapons, equipment and other items. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot allows the player to bring pistols into the course of. Some players use it to help them reach certain goals, especially those who aim for Suit Only. Some prefer having the additional pistol to make a gap closer. Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggle slot is able to hold many different items, ranging from small concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items can be found in hidden locations around the map. They can also be found anytime. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small objects within scenery and objects directly.
Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that allows players to discover different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots ahead of their entry into the map. The options for planning increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to design the perfect mission for each difficulty.
Gear Slot
Early on in the game players will find their gear slots become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are Full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is found. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the answer to this issue. They provide more inventory space for completing challenges missions. Because many of these challenges can be missed and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to reach the most slots for inventory in the game.
Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as a grouping of Grenades) only uses one Gear Slot.
Agency Pickups
As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups that are on the map. These locations let you store items that do not fit in your concealed slot for gear or weapon and retrieve them later.
These pickups are particularly useful when you have to go through a frisk at the end of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that could otherwise cause suspicion. But, you are only able to conceal one item per game at an agency pickup location.
This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, just talk to the agency receptionist and stock up on armor and snacks. Then, walk to the designated marker and identify a mob when you arrive.
